Thrasher-photo Blue Springs Police KANSAS CITY —A Kansas woman has been charged with multiple felony counts in connection with a recent shooting at a hotel in Blue Springs, Missouri, according to Jackson County Prosecutor Jean Peters Baker. Samantha J. Thrasher, 24, faces two counts of Assault 1st Degree and two counts of Armed Criminal Action. According to court records, Blue Springs police officers were dispatched on May 20, to a hotel in the 700 block of NW South Outer Road in Blue Springs after a caller said a shot had been fired inside the hotel.
